What it costs
The initial consultation is free. Websites vary too much to publish a price honestly — a four-page site for a sole trader and a shop selling two hundred products are different jobs. We'll talk through what you need, then quote a fixed price for the build before any work starts.
Hosting and ongoing support are quoted separately so you can see what's a one-off and what's a running cost.
Being found matters more than being pretty
Most small business sites fail for unglamorous reasons: no page for the service people actually search for, no address anywhere a search engine can read it, no reason for anyone to link to them. Design is the easy part. We spend the time on the part that brings people to the door — and if you'd rather see the approach than read about it, the service pages on this site are built the way we'd build yours.

Where a project calls for specialist design, photography or development beyond our own desk, we bring in associates we've worked with for years and manage the work ourselves. You deal with us throughout, and you get the right skill set rather than whatever we happen to have in-house.
Common questions
Can you take over a site someone else built?
Usually, yes. We'll look at what platform it's on and tell you honestly whether it's worth improving or starting again — sometimes the existing site is fine and only needs the search fundamentals fixing.
Will I be able to update it myself?
Yes. Every site we build has a content management system and we'll show you how to use the parts you'll actually touch.
What about rankings?
We build the foundations properly and tell you what results are realistic for your market. Anyone guaranteeing you first place on Google is guessing.
