Support contracts
Most of our clients are on a support contract for day to day support and assistance. A contract covers:
- Telephone and email support for you and your staff
- Remote support — we use GoToAssist, so we can be on the machine in minutes rather than waiting for a visit
- Server maintenance and administration
- Microsoft 365 maintenance and administration — licences, mailboxes, new starters and leavers
- Software support across the applications your business runs on
- On-site and off-site cloud backup and disaster recovery using Datto hardware and cloud services
Contracts are quoted to suit the size of your team and what you're running. The initial consultation and assessment is free, and you'll see exactly what's covered before you commit to anything.
How quickly we respond
Typical response time is 8 hours, and on most occasions we can be on site the next working day.
On-site support, project work and ad-hoc work
On-site and ad-hoc work is charged at our standard rates:
- Site surveys and initial consultations — free.
- Call-out — £20 + VAT anywhere in the Central Belt of Scotland.
- On-site engineer time — £50.00 + VAT per hour.

Common questions
Do we need a support contract?
Most clients choose one, because it covers the day-to-day — phone and email support, server and Microsoft 365 administration, software support, remote assistance and monitored backup. If you'd rather work ad-hoc, that's fine too. See rates above.
How fast will someone come out?
Typical response is 8 hours, and next working day on site in most cases. Much of it we can fix remotely the same day. Phone for anything that's stopping you trading.
How small is too small?
We work with SME businesses of all sizes, from sole proprietor businesses to large offices and factories.
Can you take over from our current provider?
Yes. We'll audit what you have, document it, and take it on without interrupting the business. The initial assessment is free.
