Microsoft 365 Management

Email that works, and someone to ring when it doesn't

Microsoft 365 is the thing most SME businesses depend on most and understand least. Licences nobody can account for. A mailbox that stopped syncing. A member of staff who left eighteen months ago and still has access to everything.

We set up, migrate and administer Microsoft 365 for businesses across Glasgow and the Central Belt. We're a Microsoft house from top to bottom, so the people looking after your 365 tenant are the same people looking after your servers and PCs.

What we look after

  • Setup and migration — moving from an old provider, from POP or IMAP mail, or from nothing at all, without losing mail or downtime you'd notice
  • Licences — working out what you actually need rather than what you're currently paying for
  • New starters and leavers — accounts created before day one, and properly closed when someone goes
  • Multi-factor authentication on every account that matters
  • SharePoint and OneDrive — shared files that behave like a shared drive should
  • Spam and phishing filtering, tuned so the real mail still arrives
  • Day-to-day problems — the sync failures, the password lockouts, the calendar that won't share

Microsoft does not back up your data the way most people assume

Microsoft keeps the service running. Your content is your responsibility. Deleted mail, a ransomware-encrypted OneDrive, or a leaver's mailbox that was removed with the licence — those are gone after the retention window, and the retention window is shorter than most owners expect.

We add proper third-party backup for 365 so a deletion in March is still recoverable in September. It's one of the most common gaps we find, and one of the cheapest to close. See cyber security and backup.

How we work

Microsoft 365 maintenance and administration is included in a support contract along with telephone, email and remote support, servers, software support and backup. For most businesses that's the sensible route, because 365 admin is a steady trickle of small jobs rather than one big one.

Project and ad-hoc work outside a contract:

  • Initial consultation and licence review — free. We'll audit what you've got, what you're paying for, and where the gaps are.
  • Call-out — £24 inc. VAT (£20 + VAT) anywhere in the Central Belt of Scotland.
  • On-site time — £60.00 per hour inc. VAT (£50.00 + VAT).
  • Microsoft licence costs are Microsoft's and are passed through at cost — we don't mark them up.

Typical response time is 8 hours, and most 365 work is done remotely.

Common questions

Can you move us without losing email?

Yes. Migrations are planned so mail keeps flowing throughout, and the changeover is normally done outside your working hours. We'll tell you honestly beforehand what, if anything, you'll notice.

We think we're paying for licences we don't use.

Very likely. It's one of the first things we check, and the saving often covers the cost of the work. The review is free either way.

Can you administer 365 as part of a support contract?

Yes — it's one of the core things a contract covers, alongside server administration, software support and backup. Contracts are quoted to suit the size of your team.

Where are you based?

2 Fitzroy Place, Glasgow G3 7RH, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm. Most 365 work is done remotely, wherever you are.
